What is cupping?

Cupping can be used to treat soft tissue conditions and musculoskeletal tension, pain and sports injuries. During cupping, your physical therapist puts special cups on your skin for 5-20 minutes to create suction on the skin, muscles and fascia. It can help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, overall well-being and as a form of deep tissue massage.
