The US Department of Homeland Security announced that physical and occupational therapists are considered “essential infrastructure workers” that have a responsibility to help flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic. Under strict adherence to CDC guidelines and local government mandates, we are committed to the health and wellbeing of patients as we have taken the necessary steps to ensure sanitation and safety precautions including the following:

+ Using disinfectant on all exam tables, exercise equipment, countertops, doorknobs, handles and all other surfaces hourly

+ Requiring patients and staff to wash their hands upon entering the clinic and after treatment

+ Requiring patients to complete a health questionnaire prior to treatment and requiring anyone with a fever, cough or shortness of breath to cancel their appointment

Welcome to your Mesa and Chandler, Arizona physical therapy family! We are your team of physical therapists who are here as your resource to recover, improve, and do life better. As your health and wellness partner, we help Phoenix-area residents get back to doing all the things you love.

There are many options for physical therapy in Mesa and Chandler. One of the key elements that sets us apart is that we are locally-owned by a physical therapist. Dr. Katrina Herron, PT, DPT, CLT, started On the Mend Physical Therapy in Mesa back in 2006. She witnessed her grandmother’s less-than-acceptable care from another healthcare organization. Katrina, along with her husband, Chuck Herron, knew they could make a difference right here in their own Arizona community. That’s when On the Mend Physical Therapy was born!
